Homage to Pavo Majić (1949–2026) in Cadaqués
In September 2026, as part of MiniPrint Cadaqués, a solo exhibition dedicated to Pavo Majić (1949–2026), founder and long-standing director of the Splitgraphic Biennial, was held at Taller Galeria Fort in Cadaqués.
The exhibition presented Mediterraneo Fragments, a graphic-poetic portfolio that Pavo Majić had specially prepared for the exhibition in Cadaqués. The series comprises screenprints in which Mediterranean motifs and poetry intertwine.
Cadaqués was Pavo Majić’s final journey, in September 2025, giving this place a special significance in his life and work. It is therefore both symbolic and deeply personal that his first posthumous exhibition took place here, paying tribute to an artist whose long-standing dedication helped shape the development and international recognition of the Splitgraphic Biennial.
