Splitgraphic was invited among many other international guests (artists and organisations) to the opening and award ceremony of 6th Guanlan International Print Biennial and other accompanying events, from 9th to 13th May, 2017.
6th Guanlan International Print Biennial is organised in Shenzhen, China.
The exhibition, opening, and award ceremony as well as all other events were held in China Printmaking Museum.
Guanlan Printmaking Base is located near the museum and its a home to international printmaking artist’s residency programme.
Along with the main group ehxbition of 6th Guanlan International Print Biennial, there was also on view group exhibition of young Chinese printmakers titled China Youth Prints.
Guanlan Forum 2017 was held around the theme “What is printmaking? Print Creation under the context of Contemporary International Art”. Chairperson of Guanlan Forum were Sheng Wei (curator of 6th Guanlan International Print Biennial) and Ingrid Ledent (professor Royal Art Academy Antwerp). Splitgraphic took part in the forum and presented its activities during the last fourteen years.
A meeting of International Printmaking Organisation Alliance Convention was organised, which puts together printmaking organizations from various countries.

A launching ceremony of Chinese National Academy of Arts and Shenzhen Guanlan Creation and Education Base called One Belt One Road International Printmaking Exchange Project was held.
